Based in Marseille, this French producer and multi-instrumentalist is a veteran of the New Disco scene, and the former drummer of Pony Pony Run Run. The first single from his forthcoming album Golden Hour is the lush and sensual “Magnifique,” with a flirty vocal from rising sensation Julia Jean-Baptiste. What is it about French people and elegantly crafted, perfectly pristine disco? It’s just that je-ne-sais-quoi, n’est-ce pas? Expect a bevy of classy dancefloor numbers from Anoraak in the coming months.
